HELP!

you are a very sick person, indeed. I'm sure you were being sarcastic by writing this, I hope you are not really serious.

I hate to burst your bubble, but you really need to put your racing career on hold. unless you can find a big sponsor to pay for your hobby I think you need to put your bills and child support first. I know, because we also have 3 racecar drivers in the family and the cars are sitting for the year, till we can afford to race. peerhaps you can find a helper with your painting business who also has a license so you can go to work legally without worrying about driving without a license. everyone needs a helper, and the price you will pay him (I would suggest minimum wage if not experienced) will far outweigh the cost of tickets and court costs. just a suggestion. good luck

please try to keep that dream in your head. somewhere, sometime, the dream will come true. yes, alot of us are feeling the same as you but what can we do? we have to wake each morning and thank God we're alive and are able to work, as some are not that fortunate. I myself have been job searching and have found nothing yet. either I'm overqualified or underqualified. I've found myself in my 40's competing against people just like yourself - neither of us deserves the job more than the other, we both deserve good jobs. I guess if we asked our grandparents (or in your case, your great-grandparents) about the depression they would tell us exactly how bad it really can get. if you need a good laugh, go to the library and rent the movie (free at the library) "Fun with Dick and Jane" - just watched it the other day with my family and thought how lucky I am right now, but that could be us in just a few months if I don't find something soon. have a great day and keep your chin up!

Need Lawyer to work with me until case settles

We have a case that has been going on for 8 years - we've already paid this attorney over 25,000 and he sent a final bill of 14,000 right before my husband's trial. We asked him to bill us monthly so we could keep up and he waited over 1 year to send us this bill. Now that we have one final trial to go thru he dismissed himself from the case and will not turn over our records to a new attorney until he is paid. I know what you're going thru. He has now filed a lien against our house, as he will not accept payments. I filed a complaint with our local bar association but it takes up to 4 months and it will not affect the outcome of his new trial without his records to use, we will probably lose the case. I hav$e searched high and low to find an attorney to finish our case but no one wants to touch it, they're all afraid of our attorney. Attorneys are all thieves as far as I'm concerned. The police who go out and serve our public get paid minimally, yet the attorneys can charge $250 an hour. Ridiculous!

Here it is, another day, lets make the most of it

My hopes are that you all had a good Easter, or Passover, whichever you believe in. I woke up this morning to the sound of the news, with an interesting story of how much chocolate was bought for the Easter holiday. Blah, blah, blah, on and on it went about how much money people spent. I only thank God that I have 2 teenage children, not small tots who believe in the Easter bunny. If you search my home you will find not one chocolate egg, nor Easter bunny. My kids have gotten used to the fact that things are bad around here, but it breaks my heart. I have a son who is getting ready to graduate. I found a way to pay for his choir trip, but now I am trying to find a way to pay for his cap, gown and announcements, which I owe $93 by the end of this week. The gas is set to be shut off tomorrow, thank God the weather is nice, and I have a convection oven to cook in. We got a rebate from something I purchased a while ago, which gave me $50 to put a deposit on his senior prom tux rental. I have spent my holiday weekend searching for a part time job, only to find that I am "over-experienced"! I know I have alot of background qualifications that most do not, I am fortunate in that sense. But all I want to do is find a part time job to get some extra money into the house, and still work with my husband part time when we have work. It is too expensive to hire someone to do my job with him. I have received a ton of well-wishing emails from this site, wanting me to click on their work from home opportunities. Believe me, I've tried most of them, which are for the most part, affiliate opportunities. Thanks but no thanks, I've got a zillion blogs and websites out there with affiliate postings on them, none of them have brought me a dime and I cannot afford to pay for a montly website fee. All I want is a part time job, being cleaning offices or homes, to working in a store or gas station, etc. I do not ask for handouts, I ask to be working. Glad I got that off my chest. Thank you and have a great day.

What's on your heart and mind today?

 in response to Robert62...

My husband is also a disabled veteran. There should be some training they may be able to give you to work in a different job if you do not heal properly. As far as getting a government grant, I was not aware that there was a preference for disabled veterans. Government grants can take years to get, and in the meantime you will be financially strapped worse than you are today, unfortunately. Good luck on the grant, and also on getting your body healed up. The best of luck to you.

we need money to help pay the bills no place wants to help

I know the feeling about getting help... unless you have no car, no house, nothing and have lost everything there seems to be no help in sight. We have sold off just about everything we can, we're in the process of bankruptcy and now I have to pay $75 for credit counseling, on top of $235 to file my bankruptcy. I try to keep my head up, but every day "Mr. Bill" shows up at my house, trying to knock down my door. Good luck to you.

Does anyone know of any real, non-scam work at home opportunities, seems they are all scams!

I've also been looking for work from home income. I even tried signing up for secret shopping, but they want you to purchase something during your visit ($5-10 for most), then it takes a month to get paid. They only pay about $6-$10 per visit, minus the cost of gas and you're actually losing money. My husband and I used to make $2000 a week, we've only made $6000 so far this year. If I find something useful I'll let you know. thanks
